Veterinary Health Insurance?

Since I adopted a rescue years ago that needed $3,500 of surgery to remove golfball sized bladder stones, I've had vet health insurance on all my dogs...and just a few sicknesses and accidents have made it pay for itself! I've tried quite a few insurance companies, but feel that the AKC Pet Healthcare Plan covers the most and is the most cost effective for me and my dogs. Rates of all the companies are about equal, but like human health insurance, the coverage of other plans seems to reduce annually while the AKC plan hasn't. You can rest assured also that the AKC insurance doesn't endorse PeTA/HSUS (like VPI and others do)...you also get a nifty e-newsletter with lots of great information...www.barkingbulletin.com
