Wow! What a week-end! Too many gorgeous dogs and my Clara and Flynn were just too young to compete. Clara did the best of the two, placing both days in her class but my poor little Flynn-agin was just too inexperienced and undeveloped to compete with those broad chested adults in Best of Breed. It was great fun watching my friends dogs win with half-sisters to my kids...Saturday the beautiful Paloma's "Tasha" whupped Clara's butt and took WB and (big upset) the fabulous PJScot-Thistlepark "Eleanor" got BOS, and Jacglen's "Preston" got BOB, both over the number one dog in the country...SADIE!!!!...Yahoo! Sunday, Clara moved up to 2nd in her class and Flynn was eliminated in the first round...ugh! All in all, I had a lot of fun. Jacki Forkel (Jacglen) had a DREAM week-end and received the respect she deserves for all her years of loving work with the breed! Linda, Judy, Margo & Jacki, my hat's off to you all! WELL DONE!!!!
Clara is now going out in search of majors to finish her championship... Ventura, CA and maybe San Antonio, TX.... I can't wait to get my sweet "ra-ra" home again for good!
